In time for the holidays, Millbury Savings has donated $2,500 to four food pantries in Millbury and Sutton.
Combined, the Sutton Senior Center’s Michael A. Chizy Food Pantry, the Friends of the Millbury Seniors Food Pantry, the food pantry of the St. Vincent DePaul Society of the Catholic Parishes of Millbury, and the Sandra L. Fischer Food Pantry at Millbury Federated Church, assist hundreds of households a month in both towns. As expected, the holidays increase the demand for these pantries’ supplies.
“So many of our friends and neighbors have an even greater need for assistance at the holidays,” said Millbury Savings Bank president and CEO Robert J. Morton. “We hope our contributions will help replenish these food pantries’ supplies at such a critical time.”
